The results went the Eels way over the weekend, and we are still a good chance of making the finals....
Results over the weekend really helped us.
The Raiders lost. The Tigers lost. The Knights Lost.
This is the finals situation:
We want to Win our 2 games by as big a margin as possible (duh)
We want the Tigers to lose their 2 games (against the Cowboys and Knights), OR win one and lose the other by a big margin.
We want the Cowboys to THRASH the Tigers next week.
We want the Bulldogs to THRASH the Knights as well. (their F & A is close to ours)
We want the Sharks to NOT win both of their remaining games (Storm & Cowboys). They can win one, and we'd still probably be ok (as long as won both)
Say we win our games by 20 points each (tough ask, I know, but possible). The Tigers could lose one by 30, and then win by 4, and we'd beat them into the 8.
OR
We want the Cowboys to LOSE their final 2 matches.
This would really help us, because then the Tigers AND Eels could both get through, and the Eels could even make 7th if we improved our F & A
Our For and Against is better than everyone we are contending against, except for the Tigers. They are the team we have to be careful of.
We can even still make it if we win one and lose the other, but then For and Against really needs to be good, and we need to rely on the Tigers and Sharks losing both their remaining games.
So, BOO the Tigers and Sharks, CHEER on the Eels, and you never know!
