The snow..

So I took Mikayla up to the snow over the weekend. I had heard that there were strong winds and snow on the Friday before we went up, but she was really looking forward to it, so we drove up on Saturday morning. It was basically snowing from Cooma onwards. By the time we got to Jindabyne, it was really snowing heavily, and had to really concentrate on the road! I decided to take her up to Perisher that afternoon, but it was probably a mistake because the snow and wind made the conditions bad and Mikayla froze her arse off! It was very cute when the first thing she did was dive onto the ground and do a snow angel! The next morning, we woke up to an amazing sight. The place where we were staying (about 10 kilometres from the Skitube) was white all over as we woke up. There had been a dump of 25cm overnight! We took the tube up the mountain on Sunday morning and spent a magical day up at Perisher. We tobogganed, made snowmen, threw snowballs, and then Mikayla went into a Kids Club lesson where she had skis on for the first time. She was very cute :) I pottered around the resort for a few hours in the sunshine. It was a perfect day. Blue Sky, little wind, awesome snow. All in all, a very fun weekend!
