This PC will self-destruct in 20 Minutes.
According to this article from ZDNet UK, the average survival time of an unpatched PC on the internet is 20 minutes.
That means that you don't even have enough time to download the patches you need before you computer is bombarded by worms and malware (malicious software).
How sad is that??
I like the quote; "If the human body did patch management the way IT does we’d all be dead."
