Christmas, Boxing Day and the rest..

It's hard to mention Christmas without mentioning Boxing Day. It's easy for us to look at the devastation of the tsunami's, feel shocked and horrified, and then move on. Not so easy for the Millions of people directly affected though. I am sure. I know that I have had moments where I've been close to tears as I read about the countless stories of people who have lost their lives, and especially the children. It's so hard to comprehend the amount of devastation, and the amount of lives that have been changed forever due to that day. And now the enormous clean-up, and the enormous mourning. I hope the world really does pull together. I hope the US really does give the amount of aid that they really should. This can't even be compared to a man-made disaster (ie. 9/11). This is something else and maybe GWB should think about what his billions of Defence spending dollars could do to help the shattered countries of the Tsunami's. I guess time will tell what sort of assistance he deems appropriate.... Before: After:
