Yes I am. I am an Anti-Dentite. (see Seinfeld Episode Yada Yada) I hate dentists. They make bad noises. They have bad breath and even worse jokes. They make you feel numb and yuck and sore and pissed off. I have not been to a dentist in at LEAST 10 years. Probably more like 13 or 14. My wisdoms have come up, top and bottom. I still didn't go. I have had aches and pains. I still didn't go I have had holes. I still didn't go I have chipped teeth. I still didn't go. Now it's go time. I think my bottom teeth are getting squashed by the fact that my bottom wisdoms have not broken through straight (they are sideways). I dunno if it's normal or not, but I can see bits of my bottom front teeth through the gums underneath and I am really conscious of it now and wondering if that's what's supposed to happen. It doesn't hurt at all, but I have needed something to force me to get a checkup. It's going to be nasty. I can tell already. I want to go in and, like at a mechanic, I want him/her to tell me what the damage is, and then let me assess what they should fix or leave. I know I have some holes. That's fine, they can fill those. I know I have chipped teeth. That's fine, just leave them. But if I need root canal, just let me think about it..... But it's going to be like a horror story isn't it? They're going to tell what will happen if I DON'T get these things fixed. But then I can say, well you could have said 10 years ago, "If you leave your teeth for 10 years they will do this", and well, look, they're ok aren't they? Fuck...I'm kidding myself aren't I? NOW. Help me please! I need dentist recommendations. Does anyone out there know of a GOOD dentist in Canberra. Someone who is friendly, doesn't make stupid drill jokes and whose breath doesn't smell like Anthony Mundines underarm. I am in dire need. Please help me!!
