Chrissy Time!

Christmas is here. You can tell because it's stinking hot, and I am walking around the house without a shirt on. I really like the fact that Christmas Eve is a Saturday this year. Normally I work on it, and then all of a sudden Christmas is here. This year, it's like the calm before the storm. I can have a nice relaxing day (no presents to buy!) before the big day. Of course, the best thing about Christmas is the giving and the look on childrens faces when they see the tree, the food, the presents and the family. That's what Christmas is all about. The sharing and the warm (or hot as the case may be) feelings of giving the kids a day to remember. As a kid myself, I used to have 2 Christmas's. Christmas Eve with my mum's family and then Day with Dad's. It was awesome! Each one would involve crap loads of food and crap loads of presents. I have fantastic memories of this, and I hope that my kids will have big memories of their Christmas's to come as well. Fortunately I will be able to share Christmas morning with the kids tomorrow and get to share the excitement that they feel when they look at all the pressies under the tree (and one big one outside that I still have to set up!). So, to anyone who reads my little blog, hope you have a great Christmas Day and a nice relaxing Boxing Day. My Boxing Day will include lots of.... and even more of.... Hope you have a Merry one!
